This magnificent church was built in 1898 in a French section of town.  It was closed in 2002 and then sold to the Coptic Orthodox in 2008.

Baptismal Font -- Old St Mary in Fredericksburg, VA

This baptismal font is from the historic old St Mary's in Fredericksburg, VA.  It is now used as the holy water font when you enter the ghastly new church.  It is the most beautiful thing in the church.

Holy Trinity in Boston, MA

Does this High Altar look familiar? 

It is the altar that was moved to St Joseph Cathedral in Manchester, NH from yesterday's post.  It was altered slightly to fit its new home.  Amazingly the same architect designed both these churches in the late 1800's when they were built.  This gorgeous old church was closed in Boston in 2011.  It was once home to the Traditional Latin Mass in the Indult days.
